Finishing well

We have to prepare ourselves well for the race.

We all hope to hear from God when we see him;
Matt 25:21
His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.'

1 Corin 9:24-26
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.
25 Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
26 So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air.

1) we have to know how to best train for the run.
2) we have to find the best condition for the training.
3) we have to discipline ourselves .
4) knowing "no pain, no gain" you have to sacrifice.

People in the race :
1) we have to be the best prepared.
Hebrews 12:1
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
2) we have to run with patient and not burn out.
3) we have to be perserverance.
